Sorry for the lack of posts for the past 3 weeks. I was reali busy wif my new job(nt so new oredi since i have oredi been there for 1 mth & 1 week..haha..) & oso my bday celebration plannning.. Yup.. I am officially 26yrs old liao~ :(
Wanted to blog for the longest time but always cant seem to find the energy to dO so.. as such below is a summary of the happenings in my life for the past 3 weeks or so =)
16th July 2oo8 till 20th July 2oo8
Couldnt remember much abt wat happened in tat week...juz tat everyday seem to pass in a flash..probably bcos of too much work i guess.. all tat i remembered was i watched 2 movies over the weekend. First being "HellBoy 2" & "Red Cliff".
Of the 2, Red Cliff is much better.. but i may be biased.. cos my "Jin Cheng Wu" is in the movie as "Zhuge Liang"~~ Of all the movies & TV series shown so far, much has been said abt Liang's wisdom but so far, none has depicted Liang as such a shuai shuai & wen zhi bing bing man~ =) My current fav catchphrase will be "lue dong, lue dong" (",) This movie is greatly recommended!! =)
Over this weekend, I oso did my initial bday plan. The plan tis year was to have a chalet celebration for my birthday. My bday chalet is like the Olympics/World Cup --That is I will have one, once every 4 years! =)
Over the weeekend, other than playing mahjong, I spent my time confirming the guests list. Once most of the people confirmed that they are free to attend, I went to book the chalet unit via AXS machine. Cos my booking is rather late, I wasn't able to book one over the weekend (-_-") so my chalet this yr is on a Sunday (3 Aug) thru Mon (4 Aug-actual bday).. decided to book Downtown East chalet cos i tot there are more amentities..but guess is a wrong move.. since they do not allow ppl to play mahjong. why? They do not provide rental of mj table!!! Diaozz
Another thing i learnt is this: WHO I should not invite to my future birthday celebration / wedding dinner! Who are these people?? Those who always tell me they are not free every year whenever i invited them to my bday celebration. And also the people who always promised to come but either last minute sms me tat they cant make it or those who dont even bother to tell me. >_<

Got my salary on 22nd (Tues) & started my crazy shopping for the whole month~~ Will update my buys shortly. Went to Causeway Point for dinner on 22nd.

Pengz~~ i think it's super expensive loh~ Somemore they do not haf any special discount for any credit card~ *Angry* last time i am eating Jack's Place (Unless someone treats me~ ^_^)
On Wednesday, met my dear fren for dinner & den went to Lunar~~ Decided to go to Siam Kitchen @ Bugis for dinner.

After dinner, we proceeded to Lunar~~ 1st time i've been there, though i've received several invitation emails from them~ haha...dear fren & I were early..supposed to meet dear fren's fren (Kristine & her frens)
this is supposed to be like a canto-pop disco, wif live band.. every wednesday is ladies nite, whereby each lady is entitled to 3 glasses (or was it 4? cant rem) of lychee martini before 11pm. After 11pm, ladies are entitled to free flow of cosmo drinks~.. hmmm..my overall experience: quite a nice place for chlilling out wif frens~ crowd-wise: quite a lot of uncles leh... hahaha... i guess is more of a middle-aged crowd for level 1 (cos live band is @ level 1), younger crowd @ level 2. The smoking room @ level 2 is quite nice (big wif seats) and the band's singers can sing quite well (lady singer looks a bit like Elva Hsiao, male singer quite shuai~) Also, the band sings quite new songs (e.g. Bei Pan) which is so much better than Scarlet City. ^_^ I like the Lychee Martini too~ (very strong) but dear fren say nt nice. After drinking tat, she was sick for almost 1 week~ haha.. since dear fren dun like, I treated her to a jug of beer ($40) & i ordered one "graveyard"--my fav drink ($25) for myself. Drank till abt 12plus, we left for home. Hangover the next day but i still went to work. very proud of myself. ^_^

On 25th, went to AMK Hub for dinner wif dear. We had Pepper Lunch for dinner ^_^ After tat, decided to catch a movie, chose The Dark Knight @ 11pm. It was my treat as dear heard some bad reviews abt the show but die die i oso wanna watch..cos it's my fav actor's last movie...Heath Ledger.. I loved him since his "Ten Things I hate about you", "Patriot" days... It's such a waste for him to leave the world juz like tat... sigh..all i can do is to buy all the vcd of shows he has ever starred in & watch @ home lo.. hahaha... juz wanna say 3 words about the movie - GO WATCH IT (+_+)
After buying the tickets, decided to window shop..went to this small shop @ B1 (i think) - Couple Lab & bought matching rings for ourselves. Chosen the $118 set - called Titinium Set wor.. Guess it's quite nice ba.. =) After tat went G2000 & he bought an office pants & shirt for me. After watching the movie, went home to sleep.
26th, went to Leisure World, wif dear together with his fren (Ah Lam). Had a nasty experience @ Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. I used the auto-scan thing to pass thru the checkpoint but keep having error. Was made to go to the counter. The stupid uncle officer told me my thumbprint cant be read! And suspect that the passport is not mine! Kaoz~ tat idiot made me scan my thumb for like many times but all the times cannot. den he interrogated me like some criminals, asked me when was the last time i travelled out of spore, to where & what date all those shitty question. When i told him i cant rem the exact date, he keep asking so harshly! DiaO him la~ He say my passport photo doesnt look like me & treated me like some illegal immigrant loh! Kaoz! The worse thing is i forgot to bring my IC out loh! After verbally abusing me for like 10 minutes, he asked me for other identitfication. I onli brought my credit card & he complained say no photo -_-". Finally, he decided to let me thru, provided i sign my name exactly the same as my passport! I was super pissed off by this time & was abt to lose my cool, started speaking loudly too. Finally he decided to let me pass. Lousy attitude!!!! Anyway...I won some $100~~Could haf win more but was too greedy...Anyway, dear's fren won quite a lot so he treated us to "Wan Dou Seak" @ Geylang for Dim Sum. After tat bought some famous durians back for dear's family.
27th, did the ordering of food for my chalet next Sunday. Decided on My BBQ Place & ordered the food online as it seems worthwhile & quite cheap. Total cost is $339.20.
Played mahjong @ nite & won abt $200~ Quite lucky this week.
