Borin + exciting weekend~

Yoz peeps!! I am so excited~~ Why??? Cos I am using my new laptop to update my blog~~ Yes!! I bought my laptop yesterday~~~~~ Will tak a foto of it and then upload it soon~~ hehehe..

Juz some updates on my weekend~

Friday (19 Sept 08)
Was on MC that day, meet up wif bf in the evening. Went to our current fav place (Taste of Thailand) for dinner. After that went sun plaza walk walk, den went home. BF says that he sprained his ankle while jogging. As he is not feeling well, we haf an early nite.

Saturday (20 Sept 08)
Woke up @ 11plus. BF was in agony over his sprained ankle. So brought him to a chinese Sinseh @ Yishun (Nan Wah Pai chinese clinic) which is highly recommended by Xiao Yi. His ankle was bandaged, so after treatment, haf lunch there and then proceeded to go back to his hse. Reached his place ard 2plus. Very tired so went back to sleep. Wake up for dinner & update blog, read papers and sleep.

Sunday (21 Sept 08)
First half of the day very bored. Basically sleep and read papers. As bf's ankle is very bad, he spent most of his time sleeping. After having dinner wif him, made arrangement to meet Pauline @ Causeway Point. Wanted to look for laptop and also pass her the advanced theory book as she is having her practical test this coming Fri and need to revise.

Left bf's place ard 6pm. Supposed to meet Pauline @ 630pm but when I called her @ 615pm, she juz woke up. Some delays and we finally meet @ 730pm. Went to courts to check out which laptop to buy. Asked for a few opinions and the most common replies i got is NOT to buy acer.

Decided on Dell but the salesperson intro Compaq & Lenovo newer model. As my ex company is linked to Lenovo, more inclined towards this brand. After hearing much abt the good point of this model, decided to go for dinner before deciding on the purchase. Went Gelare for light dinner. After that, went back to courts. Decided to buy Lenovo Y430 laptop and paid $2,088 ($1,699 for the laptop + $389 extended warranty) for my laptop. Finally fulfiled my dream of owning my own laptop~ So excited. (More on the spec later)

Felt quite satisfied with my buy and am very excited over my new toy. The design might seem "orbit" as feedback by Pauline but the spec seems impressive. =)


Monday Blues (22 Sept 08)
Slept @ 3am and woke up @ 530am today (dun ask me why..) so felt tired the whole day. Today drank 3 cups of kopi~~ jialat.. still feeling tired now.. after work went to Yew Tee to buy dinner for the bf as he's still injured (over the sprained ankle thingy). Reached his place @ 8pm and left @ 9pm. too tired... after reaching home, tried to connect to internet using my M1 wireless thingy. got problem leh~ see when free muz go M1 shop liao..

This morn the stupid mrt hor.. wah..piss me off..hahaha...an announcement was made @ Toa Payoh stop, saying tat due to some incident (neber say wat incident), the train will not stop @ the next stop (novena). Will go direct to Newton instead.

Not much impact on me since I am going towards Bugis but pity the people who need to get off @ novena... Then after Doby Ghaut, they announce next stop is City Hall (which is where i usually get off to change train to Bugis). Nothing unusual, except that when the train stopped, the usual door (on the left) never open. Instead, the right door opens. On 2nd look, i realised that we are actually @ Raffles Place! WTF~ everyone in the train is like bewildered~~ How can they bypass the interchange stop~~ Faint~ No choice, need to go up the escalator & then take the train back lo... Lame.. Wasted my time sia...luckily never late~~

Afternoon met Yu Jian for lunch. Asked dear fren along but she say she lazy~ hahah...we went to Burlington Square as I need to redeem some freebie - five 2 Gb thumbdrive (limited edition wor) given to me for my laptop purchase. Very cute!! After tat we went to a thai restaurant @ a hotel which is next to Burlinton Square (cant remember the name -- summer something).. Not very nice de food.. Yu Jian ordered fried rice & i ordered seafood fried vermilli + a side dish of fried cuttlefish~ Went back to work thereafter...

Yu Jian is going back China wif his wifey & baby tmr and will only be back on 5 Oct 08 (i think)~ Enjoy your trip my dear fren~~~

Okie~ More updates tmr... Feeling tired... going to sleep le~ Tmr gotta go massage! Oh ya, my driving lesson is postponed again till next Tuesday, so more updates on my driving thingy next week~~~
