Last Nite...

Yesterday was on MC again.. Woke up wif fever & worse cough... Think i sang too much & drank too much this week... Went to see doc ard my place.. Supposed to meet Darren for movie but not enuf time, so he say meet later in the nite to watch..

By the time finished seeing doc, onli 445pm.. So went to a newly opened salon ard my place to highlight my hair.. Spent $85 there & finally done @ 645pm... After tat went to Sun plaza & did some shopping.. Bought 5 new clothes.. Damn nice, if i may say so myself.. ^_^

After tat, rushed down to Novena Square to meet ex colleagues for dinner.. Cos it's Mr So's bday today, so me, andrine & jovvy treated him & wife (Catherine) to vegetarian dinner @ Ling Zhi. Hmm.. it's an ala-carte steamboat + bufet. Damn full loh~ Total spent like $55 (dinner + cake). The cake was nice & it was nice catching up wif them..

I rushed off @ 10pm, to go meet Christine & Eunice @ Chambers. As i was coughing quite badly, drank half of my cough syrup.. Ended up, by the time i reached boat quay, i was feeling rather nua & tired... Didn't really enjoy myself due to this. After going to chambers for a while, we went over to She Bang. Ordered a bucket of beer for the gers and off i went.. Cos Darren is coming to fetch me & "warned" me not to keep him waiting again..

Hahaha... Damn stressed loh.. He came to pick me up, in his newly repaired car. WOW! Mitsubishi Colt CzC wor.. The roof opens up to become like a convertible. Damn chio loh the car~ WeeUwee~~

We decided to watch show @ The Cathay. By the time we reached there is almost 1230am.. The next timing for the show i wanna watch is @ 210am - Fast & Furious 4. Wanted to tell him i too tired to watch but he oredi buy the tickets liao.. -_-"

So after buying the tickets, we walked over to Parklane, to play arcade & pool. Total we played 4 games & i won 2 out of 4~ Last round is super shuai, cos i managed to hit a few nice balls~

After tat, walked back to Cathay for the movie. Onli 10 ppl (including us) watching the show loh~ Dunno issit many ppl watched the show liao, or is it due to the timing, or the show is lousy?

Anyway, i fell asleep several times during the show.. -_-" it's been like 6 years (3rd time) since i did tat. Still remember the other 2 times, once was watching the AD2000 (cos i oredi watched it once) and once watching a horror movie call "San Gen". Hahaha... The horror movie i watched @ 1am oso i think~

Anyway, after the show i was feeling reali tired & sleepy so din chat much. But took a few photos of his nice car! Uploaded into FB liaO, check it out!! =)

After tat he drove me home. Many drivers keep lOoking @ his car loh~ hahaha... Reached home oredi 5am liao.. too tired to bathe, so juz wash face den eat medicine den sleep le~

I'm In LovE!!!!

Yeah~ Juz finished watching "17 Again" & I have fallen in love.. wif ZAC EFRON!! He is ultra super duper shuai can~ Those eyes! Those lips!! So kiss-able~~~ No wonder my frens were all swOOning abt him after watching High School Musical~ Hahaha... Ok, enuf of my gushing~

Went to watch the movie wif BFF, cOusin, cOusin's fren ("interview") & ZenOn. I quite enjoy the shOw~ Light-hearted, funny yet thOught-provoking (to me at least~).. What would you do if you were given a second shot @ life? If given the chance, would you want to go back to being a teenager once again & try to change ur life path?

Mathew Perry regretted the decision he makes 20 years ago & when given the chance to make things "rite" he jumped @ the chance.. If i were in his shoes, I would too... Thinking back of my life 10 years ago, there are definitely things i would wanna change...

But in the end, he choose back the same path... moral of the story? Love is the mOst impt thing in the world.. hahaha.. sound old fashioned but the romantic in me wants to believe in this... =)

Before watching the show, went for an interview wif a headhunting firm.. Hmm... Hope new opportunities knock on my window soon~ =) After tat went to AMK to meet BFF for some shopping before we go to Yishun to catch the show.

Reached office @ 1plus.. Left @ 6pm.. Tired... Went home, den meet BF for dinner for Thai food @ "Taste of Thailand".. Then went to causeway to watch movie - Dragonball Evolution.. Quite funny show.. If u like comics den u should like the show ba...

Wanted to watch "Watchmen" & "Street Fighter" as well... The show we watched is damn short.. Watched @ 905pm & it ended @ 1025pm.. After tat went to Civic Plaza to help Alex deposit his cheque...

Damn tired.... Been checking mail & updating blog since i gOt back..Jialat.. Wednesday exam but i haven start revising yet... Sian sian sian!!!!

Will be on exam leave on Wed.. Tmr will try to study a bit...

Now oredi 2am.. gOonna sleep now.. arbo cant wake up again..

Managed to be on time for work again, despite lack of sleep! =)

These few days very happy wif my breakfast, cOs XiaOyi has been preparing "Ai Xin Zao Chan" for me~ ^_^

Very pissed off with tat WOmAN again, always throwing things for me to do~~ Haiz~~ I hOpe she leaves sOon!!!!!!!!

Today lunch, went to PLO! @_@ My 1st time there wor...Kekeke... Why go there? COs supposed to go to one of the costume shop @ Joo Chiat with Jen, Lana & ZY to take a look @ the costumes for rental, for my D & D!~ So stressed leh... D & D coming soon but haven find my costumes yet.. hahahaa

Since Joo Chiat is very near Paya Lebar, decided to go PLO first to pass some documents to Hui Sim. She joined us for lunch as well. Went to a nearby "canteen" for lunch. The name very glam (Hollywood cafe) but is actually a run-down canteen loh.. The food is still ok ba.. hahaha...

After lunch, Hui Sim went back to work & the 4 of us (as mentioned) went to look for the costume shop. The name of the shop is called "Moephosis". It's a small shop run by 2 Indonesian~ Though small, there seem to be quite a wide range of variety~ And the best thing is that the owners are very helpful & frenly~~

Jen tried out the "Batgirl" & the "LOTR - princess" costumes & decided on the Batgirl outfit.

Lana tried out the "Pochahontas" & "Dorothy & the Wizard of Oz" outfit & decided on being DOrothy.

Me? I tried out the "CleOpatra" & the "WonderWoman" outfit. Decided on the latter cos they commented that I look nice in it loh~~ ^_^ (Wait for my photo ba~)

After much haggling, the owners told us they will give us a 15% discount on the rental fee. My costume (i.e. whole outfit + accessories + wig + boOts etc) after discount is $85.00..

Reached office onli @ 4pm~ Did more wOrk & left the office @ 645pm. Went to The Cathay wif ZY to catch a free mOvie. How come free? Cos our headhunter gave my boss 2 free movie tickets to the new James Bond mOvie but so happen that she oredi gOt a musical to attend on the same day, so she gave the tickets to me & ZY loh~~

The show starts @ 725pm & we managed to reach there onli @ 7pm, so no time for dinner. Bought a hot dog bun & chicken bits from the candybar & shared them.. We are supposed to get free popcorns & drinks but end up never eat.. Cos the pOpcorn is sweet de & both me & ZY dun like sweet one~ hahaha... So he tOok the tibits home lo..

The movie is 007 - Quantum of the Solace. Quite nice if u like Bond movie / action packed movies loh... But i find some parts of it confusing.. Maybe cOs i din manage to catch the previous one ba.. But overall, quite ok loh...
But i still prefer Bosnan to act as James Bond leh... Not used to seeing the new Bond.. During the show, keep imagining Bosnan as Bond loh.. kekeke..

Movie ended @ 9plus and we took MRT home.. Reached home @ 10pm.
More work for me cos report haven finish.. Do till 3am den sleep..

Friday~Sunday! So fast.Tmr mOnday again~

My Friday:

Went tO work & managed to be on time~ Before i nOe it, it's lunch time liao~~ Went to Bugis Juntion MOF for lunch. Hmmm.. One of my fav restaurant @ the mOment~ They are serving Jap food & there are loads of sets to choose from. I ordered the grilled salmOn set~~ Very nice (Lunch time nv bring camera so no photo~)

Collected my MOF card (& dear fren one as well) and paid using DBS card, so total got 15% discount! (10% for DBS & additional 5% for MOF members~) Quite worth it loh~~
wanted to go shopping after lunch but went out for lunch too late so juz go back office..

Am to meet de BF & his family @ Tanjong Pagar as his sista is getting married & the brothers are supposed to try on coats & the bridal shop. The shop name is called "Sophia Bridal Shop" & located @ 43 Tanjong pagar Road. Left office @ 7pm and reached there @ 720pm. Sista showed me some photos..Quite nice! The package she got is abt $4K~

BF's mum invited me to BF's grandma bday tmr & the "Guo Da Li" event next Saturday.. And reminded me about the Sista's wedding dinner on 30 Oct 08 (Thursday). That will be like the 5th wedding I am going to attend this year~ Still got 1 more wedding in Nov (St John's senior wedding)

After they finished trying the coat, we went to one of the "Zi Char" restaurant @ Tanjong Pagar for dinner. They ordered abt 5 dishes for 6 ppl & the total cost is abt $70.. Quite worthwhile.

After dinner, me & BF went to Yishun, to catch a mOvie. Reached there @ 930pm and decided to watch "Eagle Eyes". A thriller-kinda show, which is a bit like "Minority Report". It's about a "SuperComputer" which ultimately controls US. Very sci-fi thriller, which I would highly recommend!! But for those who arent into those "thinking" movie, maybe Not suitable ba.. hahaha...

After that went home & sleep.

Sleepy sunday..

Woke up onli @ 1pm.. Dear told me tat henry is jio-ing mj again.. But i no mood to play leh..

Suddenly haf craving for seoul garden. As dear got 2 free tickets for eng wah, originally wan to go westmall for lunch n movie. But checking online, realised tat seoul garden @ westmall oredi closed down dunno since when.

Decided to use de tickets another day. So off we went to causeway point-nearest seoul garden branch. Reached aBt 215 n went to buy tickets first so tat can secure couple seats. :-P

decided to watch bangkok dangerous. Starring nicholas cage n charlie yong. Haf fallen in love wif nic since his "face-off" days wif john travolta so i'll always try to catch movie tat he's acting in.

Movie is @ 510 so we went to seoul for our lunch. Two of us costs $50 after discount (maybank n safra cardholder entitled to ten percent discount) quite expensive n food is quite boring.. We ate a lot of prawns to compensate.. Haha..

Show ended aBt 7pm, went walk walk ard looking for sports shoes. Saw a puma shoes @ royal sporting hse which i like alot-it's $71 before discount (30% sömemöre) but too bad it's too big for me.. All left big size nia..

Walked till aBt 8 den left for home.. Reached home aBt 8 plus n spent my time reading papers, watching tv n clearing my room.. Slept @ 12.. Wanted to online but too tired..

"Hancock" ~ nOt ur aVerage sUperherO~

Went to watch "Hancock" on Saturday. what draws me to watch this movie?
2 words: Will Smith

I have been mesmerized by him since his "MIB - Men in Black" days~~ That is to say I have supported him nearly 10 yrs since MIB was shown during my sec sch days~~

Movies starring Will Smith & Denzel Washington are shows that i try nOt to miss. THeir actings are with so "ompph"~ that you cant resist being sucked into the mOvie~

Caught the movie @ MArina Square GV on Saturday..we watched the 2305hrs show and it was full house, even the front row was being filled up!!

Hancock is quite a surreal show as the superhero in the movie has really unbelievable powers!~ It was adapted from a popular cOmic series sO i guess mOst guys will like tis mOvie~ i personally love movies which are adapted from cOmic strips~~

Overall I quite enjoy the shOw & there are some parts of the show which makes you burst out laughing & yet some parts which makes me tear uncontrollably as well..Esp the part when Will Smith talks abt his past...gO figure~

I would give tis show 4 / 5 (alrite..I am plain biased cOs i |ove Will Smith~_~) Oso, there is 1 extra scene after the show ended sO dun get oUt of the cinema toO fast~ =) Next show i am lOOking fOrward to: HellBoy II & The Dark Knight~~~

Sunday pOst~ "Wanted"

wOke up @ 12pm this nOOn. Went tO help dear to wash his bike until 1plus den tOok lunch - chicken rice. After having lunch, surf net & update my blOg~ dear went back to sleep & wOke up @ 5plus~ Had our dinner & decided to gO yIshun tO watch the shOw tat we have been wanting to watch: "Wanted".. Juz realised that there is anOther shOw tat we wanted to catch: "21".. Only realised it tOday. If we haf knOwn yesterday, would have watched it @ VivO liaO~~ ^_^ the only show tat is nOt selling fast~~~

Left his place @ 7pm & got caught in a minor rain~ Reached hOme @ 730pm & went back to put my laptop. Thereafter, went to Yishun Ten to buy tickets to the well-anticipated show~~ bOught tickets for the 2050hrs show. Since we reached there @ 8pm, we still haf abt 1 hr to kill.. sO decided to gO nOrthpoint to dO some window-shopping~

Quite sian walking arOund..saw a few things that i wanna buy but cant..cOs nO mOney ma.. den I osO need to start saving mOney...muz cOntrol!~~ After i get my pay, I wanna buy a laptop, a LG fone (still deciding btw LG Viewty or the S20 fOne, well..will dO more research!), start my driving lessOns (& hopefully get my licence by the end of this yr) etc~~

went for our show..well.. the sHow is quite nice.. many special effects + many shOts of Sexy Angelina jOlie (my all time fav).. ^_^



The show is abt Wesley Gibson, who will become a super-hero in 2008. This show is shown in a 3rd person point of view.
Beginning of the show is a narration by Wesley, who told us abt himself: He is a 25 yr old Account Manager who is always prone to anxiety attacks. A Mr Nice Guy, who is always bullied, Wesley was the most disaffected person on earth & seem domed to be a lOser~~ Until he met Fox (Angelina Jolie)..

He was told tat his father was in a Fraternity & was killed by a traitor named "Cross". He was convinced by the sexy Fox to join the Fraternity, a secret society which trains him to become an assasilin by using lightning-quick reflexes and phenomenal agility..

Many special effects were used (looks too goOd & unbelieveable to be true..) The Frat lives by an ancient, unbreakable code: carry out the death orders given by fate itself. This Frat is lead by a charasmatic leader, Sloan (Morgan Freeman)..

In the beginning, you will believe what the movie wants you to believe.. But the web of deceit slowly unravels~ There is more to his dangerous associates than meets the eye...

I quite enjoyed the show.. but feels that the ending is quite lame lo.. hahaha... I guess I will give this show 3 star out of 5~~

Went to watch midnite show wif dear on Saturday nite. Was very excited when he suggested "You dont mess with the Zohan", cos i saw de trailer & oso poster for this movie. I love Adam Sandler's movies in general, so was waiting in anticipation for the movie to show~~ However, was quite disappointed after the show leh...

Basically, this show is abt "The Zohan" (Adam Sandler) who is an Israeli anti terrorist commando, who fakes his own death in order to become a hairstylist in New York.

1st part of the movie shows how powerful & skilled (in fighting) he is & there are many crude scenes of him dancing & all~ He has an arch-enemy called "Phantom" who is an ARab/Pakistan/Lebanon~ And Zohan faked his death after fighting with Phantom..

2nd part of the movie shows how he finally became a hairstylist in a Pakistan salon & the owner is actually da sista of the Phantom...

Last part is about how Zohan falls in love wif the Pakistan hair salon owner, some bad-ass big company tried to deepen the hatred btw the Israeli & the Lebanon ppl & den Zohan & Phantom bury the hatchet & work together to beat the bad-ass company lo...

It is overall quite a funny show la... but basically the funny parts is being derived from all the crude, R(A) & lame jokes~~ And the movie is like making bad jokes & references to the war btw Israel, America, Lebanon etc lo...

In conclusion, my rating for the show is like 2 stars out of 5 stars..
