Halo halo! Been meaning to update my blog yesterday but keep having problem uploading some photos. :-D

anyway it's a special date tmr. Here at jOanne's blog, i hereby wishes all of u:

Today i was late for work for 3hrs cos i overslept. Slept at 5am tis morn n cant wake up.. My insomnia is back! =( but was pleasantly suprised when i reached office!

Cos there's a bouquet of flowers on my desk! :) bf finally delivered on his promise~ my colleague n boss r very excited. They tot someone from our co sent me de flowers.. Haha.. They stole a peek at my card ma.. Den i haf a staff in de co who haf de same surname n name as my bf.. Haha..

Anyway i'm now on my way to meet bf to haf a pre-celebration at bishan. Most prob dinner n movie ba. Left my flowers in office cos too many things to carry. Will take photos on thurs n post. Hope de flowers aint dead by den. :-D

Home Alone~

I'm home oredi~~~ Feeling tired but restless so decided to online housekeep some of my stuff~~ Been reali busy after changin a new job + new bf =) So much so tat I've neglected some of my personal stuff..

Used to keep an excel file on all my bills, to keep track of my daily + monthly expenses and all..Recently too busy to update these stuff... Muz buck up on this~~

Feelin a bit sian... Cos tmr is Monday & tat onli means one thing--> WORK! got many reports need to rush out and the deadline is on Tuesday...Spent my weekend working on them.. Hopefully I dun need to work too late tmr.....

Tuesday will be my 3rd driving lesson and Wednesday will be our 1 year anniversary...Wondering if there will be any special programmes lined up? And dunno wat he promised me on my Bday will materialize anOt...Well, we shall see on Tuesday~ Wait for my update loh~~ ^_^

The stupid M1 wireless is giving me problem again..Keep having connection problem to MSN~~~ Sian...

Came across this email, which i find is very true!~ ^_^

WORDS WOMEN USE

(1) Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

(2) Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

(3) Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.

(4) Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!

Sunday~ Sleepy + Tired

I dread Sundays.. Cos it will onli mean one thing --> Monday is coming! =(

Today wOke up @ 12pm and then went out for lunch wif bf. Went to haf chicken rice nearby his place and after tat went to MRT there to withdraw money and buy newspapers.

After that, went to Sue's place to visit her and get some presents from her =) Spent some time chatting abt our ex colleagues' marriage problems & dilemmas~ Hmm.. Nowadays seems like a lot of my fren who got married within the last 1-2 years are having problems and some are even contemplating divorce... Makes me reali fearful of marriage... Will blog more abt this in my next post...

Anyway, after visiting her, went back to BF home and spent the whole noOn doing work.. But heng la.. now more or less completed le... so sleepy & tired...

Going home soon~~ Will update more later~~ Btw, it seems like zillion years since i last played mahjong (actualli i think onli 2 weeks nv play la..), hands itchy!!!!!

Lazy weekend

Went to bed @ 5am this morning and wOke up ard 1pm~ Still ok ba...

Spent some time surfing net & watchin TV wif dear... we wanted to eat buffet lunch/dinner but seems like a lot of restaurants & hotels are fully boOked for wedding...

Ended up leaving my hse ard 4pm and we decided to go LOT 1 @ CCK for lunch + dinner.. Wow~ Lot 1 has changed quite a lot since i last went there (which is like 5yrs ago? Nv go there after breaking up wif edmund~) There are many new shops & restaurants now and it seems like they have even an extension.

We decided tO go Ajisen Ramen to eat~ I ordered the promo set, which consists of a seafood ramen (spicy cos i requested for 2 extra bowls of chilli - nice!), 2 ala carte side dishes (pumpkin croquette & guo tie) & 1 lemon tea~ Dear ordered crayfish ramen + 1 free ala carte side dish of chicken wing & 1 iced green tea.
Very nice food~ Wanted to take pic but unfortunately I left my camera in his bike~ Whole meal costs me $33 after discount ~ still considered cheap ba cos we reali ate alot.~

After eating, we went to loiter ard =) Passed by Siam Kitchen & realised tat they haf buffet~ Well, there is always next time ba~ We went to BHG to shop shop & i bought 1 wacoal bra & 1 pair of shoes. Actually i haf one exactly the same pair, but because the shoes is worn out & very comfortable, decided to get one more~

After tat went basement buy some finger food then go back to BF hse. Spent the last 4hrs updating blog & also doing some work that I have brought home to do~ Well, abt half completed so muz persevere & do the rest tmr~ (Due date on next Tues ma..)

Am meeting Sue tmr (cos she stays very near my bf hse~) so more updates tmr!!

TGIF ~ It's finally Friday~

As expected, colleague is on MC today. Earlier she said taking leave and now, MC.. Sigh... dunno wat to say her la... anyway, it's onli me & my bOss today~ Very busy due to shortage of manpower. But luckily, we will be hiring a temp soOn~~

Met Raymond & Melvin for lunch today as I need to pass them some bank loan doc. Yes, most likely will be financing my degree course via bank loan and credit card payment lo.. Very sad.. Cos I not like some ppl, who is stupid but parent rich, so parent will sponsor the kid to private U~~

However, anOther alternative is to see if my company is willing to sponsor me or give me a study loan lo.. I have told my boss this mOrning and she says she is willing to help me to talk to the MD... I am suupposed to submit some forms and email to her as supporting doc... So will try to do so by Sunday~~

Went to the Hong Kong Cafe @ Bugis for lunch ard 230pm~ Raymond actually came to my office to fetch me (funny cos my office to Bugis junction is like only 5min away lo..), which i find is quite sweet ba~~ Hmmm...He is driving a Mercs wor~~ Anyway he's very knowledgable and it's fun to be wif him as he nOes a lot of things and keep telling us jOkes & general knowledge thingy lo~~

He wanted to drive me back to office after lunch but i too paiseh and refused.. Reached office abt 330pm and was busy till late~~

Oh ya, something exciting. My office building is a super prestige one and u nOe wat? For the F1 race thingy? The racers are coming to the lounge @ my office building for food & drinks & entertainment after their race today~~ hahaha... I onli nOe when a colleague told me~~ I was thinking why there were so many things being set up for the past few days...Finally cleared my doubts~~ =P

Anyway, my classes will be on every Thursday, w.e.f 2 Oct 08 for 2 whole months...Hopefully i can cope & adapt.. In any case, will be going together with Andrine.. At least still got ppl acc so better ba~~

Left office ard 7plus..Still got lots of things never do..so brought a lot of work home...most likely will be spending my time doing wOrk tmr and on Sunday ba....

Thursday ~ Very busy~

Thursday - My colleague is on urgent leave. AGAIN. Super sian cos whenever she is on leave, I will be very busy cos everyone keep calling me~~ And funnily, she always on leave for Thursday, Friday she will definitely be on leave too (This time rd, she took urgent leave on Thursday & MC on Friday...)

Was very pissed off with my co Finance Team this week. They are disrespectful, "dog eye look ppl down" & are difficult to work wif~~ So sian so sian!!

Anyway, I left office ard 7pm yesterday, to meet Andrine to go Brookes Business School for more brainwashing. After we eliminated Kaplan & SIC from our list, the next best alternative will be BroOkes liao. Anyway, I was informed by Andrine that there will be a change - instead of Cardiff University being the institute to issue the Bsc to us, it will now be University of Wales (heard that it is very recognised in the world and of top ranking), which will issue our cert to us.

In any case, part of the reason why i so onz to go is cos the proggramme executive who first started "selling" this product to me is so "yummy" and shuai can?? His good looks is comparable to Chow Chor Meng~~ which is the type i like~~ hahaha... die... think i got a crush on him~~

Anyway, after listening to Melvin (yummy guy's name) and Raymond (Melvin's manager - who keep on saying that i look like his sec sch fren...and was hitting on me =P) talk on the degree, me and Andrine decided to take up this degree course. And class will commence next week~~ So nervous & excited & scared & happy~~~~ Will update more on this when my lesson commences ba~~

Took a cab & reached home @ 1130pm yesterday~

Falling asleep even as i type....

I am so so so tired for this whole week... since the day (Sunday) tat I bought my laptop i think.. Everyday slept @ 4am and wake up @ 730am... Was late for almost everyday, but I am still the earliest to reach office.. =P

As per my last blog, I met up with Andrine on Wednesday evening for a talk @ Kaplan Campus. The talk is basically to tell us more abt the degree programme (1.5yrs) offered by the institute.

Before attending the talk, I was quite keen and more or less confirmed that I will take up the degree course @ Kaplan. However, after the talk, I realised that the degree offered is actually kinda like distance learning. Cos of the 18 months I am supposed to be studying, the only time we can have any interactions with the lecturer will be for only 20hours. This will be good for those ppl who are eiher smart or rich & the most impt thing is that the person muz haf self discipline~

Anyway, after the class has ended, Andrine started talking to a guy who was there for the talk as well. The guy is fugly & odd... They keep talking & talking~~ After tat we went to cuppage for dinner and as luck would haf it, the odd guy is having drink wif his fren there. So he asked us to sit together and Andrine agreed... Thank god his fren is more normal. Chatted abt school thing, exchanged number and went home via MRT~

Went home, tried to login to M1 broadband and also wireless network. None of it worked and I spent my time uploading my photos into the laptop lo... By the time i decided to sleep already 4am.. Juz looked into the mirror and realised that i am starting to haf dark circles! Muz sleep earlier, effective next weeek~~
