Got my confirmation but not reali happy....

Seeing my subject head, you might think that I did not get any increment upon my confirmation rite? Well... That is not exactly the case..

I got my confirmation letter today... And gOtten an increment of $100.. However, I feel very unbalanced..Cos my colleague (tat HR Exec) who joined abt 2 weeks earlier than me, she oso got increment of $200...

Some background on the situation:

I jOined my new cO in 1st of Jul & tis colleague (Let's call her HP for short) joined in mid June. My starting pay is $300 below my expected salary. At that time, my then manager told me tat she will adjust my pay upon confirmation but it's dependent on my performance... HP's starting pay is $1.2K more than mine.. Main Reason the manager gave is bCos she gOt a degree & more payroll experience..

Her biO data:
- Age 32
- Married wif 1 kid (1yr old)
- Worked in a SME as a HR cum Admin Asst for abt 5yrs
- Worked in a bank as HR Admin for abt 2yrs

My gripe about her that i dun like:

Liar, bOastful
She claimed to haf payroll experience, doing payroll processing for 2000 staff ~ so she said to the manager..When i asked her, she told me actually for the 2000 staff, her company outsource to external vendor. On her end, she juz need to submit payroll instructions to the vendor.. Wow... Diff story..

Very act busy & know-it-all
When boss is ard, she will act as if very hardworking while in actual fact, she dumps mOst of the things for me to do.

Fake
- When ex bOss ard, act very frenly & pledge loyalty to her. When ex boss left, shifted her affections to the new one.
- Always taking urgent leave, excuse given? Her mother-in-law/mother/husband/auuntie sick, so noone help her take care of her baby. Otherwise will say she/her baby is sick. And usually take urgent leave when she has many things to clear / when we need to submit reports. Who end up doIng the wOrk? Yours truly.

One last thing tat pisses me off:
Before ex boss left (abt 2 months after I joined the co), she tOld me
that she will definitely increase my salary as I have met her expectations & for my post, there is still budget for increment.

For HP, she told her (in my presence) tat for her case, when they employed her, she has already given her the max (de the limit of the budget)salary & thus, she will not have any increment upon her confirmation.

But wat did tat HP do? Did she tell the new bOss this? Of cos..NOT!!

Dunno what sob story she tOld our new bOss.. the new bOss actually gave her ann increment~

Sigh... My pay is so much lower than people, increment oso lower than people. The thing i have more than her? WORKLOAD.

Overworked, underpaid--> That's mOi, me, yours truly~

Feeling sO faRking unbalanced nOw~
