Wat happened on Wednesday?

I was reali reali angry & disgusted @ work on Wednesday. This is wat happened:

Tuesday is the cutoff date for payroll submission. I finished calculating my OT & transport claim & submitted to manager in the morning. She signed off & i put my documents into the payroll file, which is to be sent to our payroll vendor. It was being sent over @ 11am. Before i left home on Tuesday, i left my leave carry forward form (c/f 2 days) on manager's desk for her signature.

When i reached office on Wed morn, I saw a stack of signed documents on my desk but could not find my form for c/f leave, so went into manager room to ask her.

I cannot believe my eyes, when i saw my leave c/f form & mhy OT CLAIM FORM on her desk. I tot i have already submitted to my vendor?? What she said next reali pissed me off. There was a small piece of paper pasted on my OT form & on it states the time-off i haf taken so far. So manager told me she cannot sign off the leave c/f form. Reason is because, i haf taken time off for a few days & she is not sure if i haf deducted these hours from my OT claimed. So she ask me if i have any way to justify & keep track of whether i haf oredi minus off these hours from my OT claimed.

WHAT THE FUCK is this man! First of all, if she got any problems with my OT form, she should not haf approved the day before rite? Secondly, she muz haf taken out my form from the payroll file since yesterday (Tues) noon, why wait till Wed den ask me about this? From the looks of things, probably tat BITCH muz haf told her something & purposely take out my form rite? Damn it la! Super pissed off!

Manager say I muz give justifications for my time off taken & she wants some official records, when i asked her, shouldnt time off be off the records, she couldnt answer me. Fine then. I told her i will check & give her a breakdown on my OT hours worked.

After this incident, i am ultra disgusted @ her. Feel like resigning there and then on the spot.! So for the rest of the day, I juz bochup, never do any work & spent most of my time either talking on the phone, complaining to my frens or answering calls from people asking me to go for interview.

After tat, left office @ 7pm to meet Grace to go dinner with Jocelyn (her bday) -- Went to an ultra ulu place (forgot the name) & it's @ the "Ole School" -- upon a hilltop near PS. Haf their famous pizza & ordered a glass of samoca.

After tat took a cab to Double O, for our 2nd round. Enjoyed the free flow of drinks greatly. Happened to see my dear clubbing fren Andrea there as well! so for the rest of the nite, stayed wif her group.

After they left, we joined Erin & Jackson, the latter who was celebrating his bday there. Spent most of our time taking photos..

Left @ 2am.. Cab fare super expensive as usual.. Tried to login Internet to prepare my interview the next day but was too drunk.. Fell asleep while surfing net..

Disgusted + Disgruntled + Demoralized on Thursday....

mOst of my close frens would have known by now, why i was so shocked & upset on Thursday....

Yeah, for those who haf not heard the story, TAT woman is nOt leaving the company anymore... Why? Cos she has been promoted to Assistant Manager + super high pay increment of nearly $1K. Yeah, I am as shocked as you when i first nOe of this~ But it was mOre or less expected as well... Cos these few days, she has been reali nasty & high-o-mighty~

The best part is nOone told me of this. I found out when i was going thru the payroll file... I would think tat the manager should haf talked to me about her promotion rite? Since we are in the same dept & this will inadvertly affect me as well. Wonder how long they plan to hide it from me.

I am reali upset about this lar~ The person who always "chao geng", pushing all the work to me, can get promoted juz like tat! Just throw letter & then can promoted & pay raise?? This is too much la..

Anyway feel reali upset & disappointed with my manager. In the justification, she actually listed the following "strengths" of the bitch:

1) In the absence of a HR Manager (the interim when my ex manager left & before this dumb one joined), she has shown great leadership & able to take charge of the dept-> please la.. how big is our dept? dun think she did much during tat period, except throwing stuff for me to do loh. & it's like juz 2 weeks onli loh~

2) Is very conscious of deadline -> Yeah, she is super conscious loh. Like whenever there is any report deadline due, she will be so conscious tat she will sure be on leave tat few days, leaving all the shit for me to do.

3) Always extending her working hours in order to meet deadline-> Yeah rite. Like how my manager would nOe, when she always leave much earlier than us?

4) Shares her knowledge, provide guidance & motivate the HR Officer -> Tis is the one tat pisses me off the mOst. This is super linked to me loh. Noone asked me abt anything, so who is to say tat i am so motivated by her? *Puke*

There are a lot more, which i feel are juz bullshit lar.. Anyway, once i secure a new job, I will be leaving tis disgusting place liao! Wish me luck loh~~

The onli highlight of Thursday is dinner time. Met up wif a few colleagues tat i actuali like & click wif @ PS for dinner, together with my cousin. Decided to eat @ Cafe Cartel. Met up wif Hui Sim, Ming Hua & Elina. Very funny & fun-to-be-wif people~

After dinner, they bring me to Daiso @ PS, which is the 1st time i have been there. They all keep laughin @ my "sua-ku-ness" loh~ ^_^ Bought 7 items in total from there & was very pleased with my buys! After tat went to Carrefour walked one round, den wen to take cab back...

Reached home @ 11plus & was too upset to blog... Which explains why this is onli posted up today.. ^_^

Weekend so far ~

Friday 28 Nov 08: Happy + Angry + Happy

Was a busy day @ work today as we are supposed to pay our unconfirmed staff their salary thru cheque mode. Finance managed to pass all the cheques to us before stipulated timing, @ 12pm. There are about 75 cheques in total, to be checked & then issued. And we are to pass all these cheques to our operations dept before 130pm. So wat did that woman do? At 12pm, she very matter-of-factly told me she got a lunch appointment & merrily went off for lunch, leaving me wif all the cheques for checking, all by myself. -_-"

Managed to send out all cheques & went to lunch wif ZY. He's supposed to treat me for lunch & so we went to the "Sketches" @ Bugis Junction. It's a cafe which serves mainly pasta. We ordered our DIY pasta. Quite nice (but not fantastic) pasta that we haf.. After lunch, ZY went back to office & i went to the "GUESS" outlet to browse. Passed by the shop quite a few times liao, wanted to buy one of the bag. After few weeks of pondering, finally bought the bags that i wanted.. (Bonus + venting of frustration)

Went back office & being subjected to another round of abuse by the bitch. Accused me of doing a staff's payroll wrong. Hello!! She was the one who is supposed to do tat staff payroll~ And she, as the "senior" & "supervisor", shouldnt she be the one to do the verification after I am done doing the payroll? If not wat for pay her so much? Things go wrong den wan to put the blame on me? BITCH! I juz shoot her back & den she kept quiet. _|_

Mood slightly improved in the evening, as one "shuai ge" is coming to my office to collect his cheque from me. ^_^ The sweet guy actually bought me "iced chocolate & donut" from J-Co, as he feels bad that I need to stay back after working hours to wait for him.. "Swwooonn"~~~ (I would say it's my pleasure :P)

Stayed in office till 7plus, den went to Quality Hotel to meet Hazel (& her PT + fren), Fiona, Demi & Cass for buffet dinner... Took MRT to Novena & intended to take a bus from there to Balestier. ASked the bus uncle (bus 21) if this bus goes to Quality Hotel. He told me tat i should go to another bus stop which is further away. And he offered to drive me there (!!) Super nice rite?? Cos i think tis bus oso goes to tat bus stop, juz tat it is quite far for me to walk there.. So i got a free ride there =)

Reached the hotel abt 745pm & by then, the rest are almost done wif their dinner.. So i juz ate a little bit onli.. Spent $15 for this, totally not worth it (in my opinion) as this is a taiwan porridge buffet...

After tat went wif them to a pub @ McKenzie Road - The Backyard. Quite a nice place for chilling out~ Just realised tat one more fren is pregnant... Why is everyone getting pregnant lately? ^_^

Ordered a 5-pint Hoegarden (not sure if spelling is correct) & spent the next hour chilling out + chatting wif Cass & Demi (The rest left for Boiler Room @ St James) there... Left the place abt 10pm..

Decided to take a cab home as i tot tat it would be faster.. Who noes end up I waited till 1040pm before boarding a cab loh~ & somemore this cab is thru booking~~ Almost died there~ Called Transcab & Comfort+City Cab... After getting my details, they asked me to wait for the taxi number.. Waited till the line went dead loh! Kaoz~ If they do not haf any cabs for booking, should juz inform me rite? Instead of wasting my talk time!

Managed to reach home onli @ 1115pm~ So So tired loh....

Anyway my interview has been postponed liao.. juz received an email from the recruitment agency, saying tat the hiring manager last min got something on, ask me to go over on Fri instead @ 3pm.. But Friday i will be reali busy wif payroll thingy.. So i requested to postpone till next week loh... Shall see what she replies ba~

Today left office @ 8plus & went down to CWP to meet my BFF for dinner. Haf dinner @ Ichiban & complained to her abt work & life in general.. Sigh.. How i wish I can work overseas as well... Can leave all my burdens & troubles behind... Should i try? But now like not much opportunities for that leh...

Feeling rather down.. SMS "someone" but he did not reply.. Me going crazy liao~ Last nite drank a bottle of red wine alone, today drank beer, tmr planning to drink sakae~ bOring!!!!!!

gOing to sleep soon.. Tmr gOt driving lesson, if dun sleep...HaiZ.... Anyway tat bitch will be on leave tmr............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This whole week i think she juz go work for 1.5 days onli loh~

Could not wake up in time & onli reached office @ 9plus.. But at least i went to wOrk loh~ 3 Nov is our deadline for a few report submission & what did that HP do?

Yes, as usual, she was on urgent leave. Told boss her hubby sick. I sms her & asked her if she is on leave again? she replied "ya, my boy is sick". So issit her hubby sick or boy sick or she is sick? Noone nOes.. So i juz replied "Oh, guess i will have to do this month report alone again." Sian. Sick & tired & oh-so-mad!

Anyway, went lunch wif ZY. he told me tat he passed his Basic Jap class wif flying colors, so as an encoragement & celebration, decided to treat him lunch! Went to Shaw Towers, Ah Yat Abalone restaurant.

They are having 50% discount for all Dim Sum during weekday lunch time (& 30% for weekend lunch). Ordered quite a few dishes & totally enjoyed the food. Yummy!! But one piece of advice: DO NOT order the orange juice! It costs $5 per glass loh~~ Total meal costs me $50~~

Btw, I got my HSBC card last Friday. Very shocked, cos previously when i sent in my application, HSBC sent me a decline letter, rejecting my application. Out of the blue, they sent me the card?? Hahaha... And the credit limit is way higher than my UOB/DBS one loh~~ Double checked the names & yes, is my name leh... Blurred~~ -_-"

After that went back to work & left @ 650pm to meet Andrine go to SmA to enquire on the degree offered by Murdoch U. Wah, super EXPENSIVE loh~~ 1.5years of study = $25K!
Dun think i got the money to study there..

After that we went to Bugis Junction for dinner - A hong Kong cafe endorsed by "Ah Wang" (Those who watch HK drama will nOe who he is)

After tat took cab home, sent Andrine back ^_^
Reached home @ 11plus & spent my time doing reports & reply email. Went to sleep only @ 4am. Tired!!!

Friday Nite...bOring~

Yesterday network is very good..Managed to login to Viwawa~! Finally get a chance to play my WahjOng & Big2 ^_^ So happy wor~ After 3 mOnths of hiatus, finally get a chance to play again~ Excited loh!! Hahaha.... So i play & play till till 4am den sleep..

Cool rite! Kekeke... At 1 pOint of time, i was so addicted tat i was playing wawa every waking hour, even during work (cos my ex co very nua one.. mOst ppl go there not to wOrk but to relax one corner lo..a lot of them are very "geng" & hypocrites, nOe how to act ma..and boss very bochup..I think nOw tat i left, even worse ba) hahahaha...

Woke up @ 730am to go to work, was late abt 15minutes today. After my cousin came in to work as temp, my workload has decreased very significantly wor~~ Work is so much better nOw~

Went for lunch @ 1215 today, supposed to meet YuJian for lunch. He's back from his china trip~ Missed him wOr~~ hahaha... he very blur, say tat he packed the souvenirs for me liao but forgot to bring out~ kekeke...

Met him @ Bugis for lunch, together wif my cousin. Went to my fav restaurant in Bugis (MOF!!) & I ordered Shabu Shabu set tis time round. Actually i wanted to eat the sukiyaki beef set but ordered wrongly =P We shared a wasabi seafood salad & the food is yummy as usual. Total bill after discount is $70, for 3 sets being ordered. Yu Jian insisted on treating us this time round (^_^)

After lunch, went shopping wif cousin. I bought 2 tops from FOX Women (15% discount for DBS card holders - go check it out dear frens!!) which are like super nice & cost $36 (for 2 pieces) after discount. Bought a red belt from BHG (as my pants are too loOse - keep falling!! -_-) & went back to office loh..

Not much mOod to wOrk after lunch.. hahaha.. too tired i guess~ Left office @ 545pm today. Met my FA to sign off some insurance documents. After tat went shopping again (supposed to meet Andrine @ Raffles @ 630pm & still got time to waste mah...)

Went to Samuel & Kelvin & bought 2 Polo T-shirt (one for de BF & one for me~) & bought a cap for cousin~~ Total cost onli $30~~~ After tat rushed off to Raffles to meet Andrine. (She is going to acc me to California Fitness to cancel my membership..)

Reached slightly earlier so went to Aries to browse. Bought a double eyelid tape, glue & fake lashes!~ hahaha... After tat went to the California Fitness to terminate my membership loh..

Felt the hostility from the consultant (Rebecca).. Well, I was pressured into signing up lo.. & is my rights to cancel if i wan to rite? Anyway, after waiting for abt half an hour, they told me will send in my cancellation notification letter to their main office loh..

Supposedly, the refund will be completed within 4 to 6 weeks.. I called the DBS hotline (Mia) to inform them of this and asked the CSO, if the installment payment is reflected in my statement, do i need to pay.. And she say to avoid any late payment charges, better to pay loh.. kaOz.. wat if i pay liao then they continue to bill me? Den die la~~

Anyway i called Rebecca abt tis again & she assured me that they will send in my cancellation thingy to the bank by next Monday latest, so the bank will receive the refund notice & will not bill me loh..Then she say after they have sent in the letter to the bank, their admin person will email me.. Hopefully everything will be settled ba~ Troublesome.. This will be the last time i go for any free trial liao...Always kana psycho-ed & pressured into signing for packages..

After this errand, we are supposed to meet Raymond (from the school) for a "show-down". Having quite a lot of problems with the school.. Thinking of changing to another school.. As he told us he will meet us @ 9pm @ the school, we decided to go to Bugis for our dinner loh... Who nOes, after we reached there, he told us that he got another appt & cannot meet us liao.. How irresponsible & unprofessional rite.. So sian of their attitude loh..

Anyway he say wan to meet us next Wed... See how it goes loh.. End up we went to a Korean restaurant (which i haf been to for like 3 times) for our dinner. We ordered & shared a Ginseng Chicken soup, one BBQ prok collar (whereby we can BBQ it on the spot by ourselves) & 2 Ginseng teas.. Other than these, they haf 6 FOC side dishes & FOC desserts (cold green bean soup!!!)

Spent a total of $52.80 (after 10% discount for OCBC card holders) for the above. I feel is worthwhile, cos the portion is really huge (value for money ba) & the food is like reali delicious & tastes like authentic Korean food~~~

After dinner, we took MRT home...

Been playing wahjong till now (yesterday play Big 2 wor).. Tired liaO~ So gOing to sleep now~~ Tmr going to BF house for his pre-wedding ceremony thingy. Will be meeting him @ 9am @ Yew Tee MRT for breakfast.. So guess i should go sleep now... If not sure cant wake up...

Feeling damn tired & unbalanced..

Today is Monday... I slept @ 4am yesterday and wOke up @ 7am... Stayed up late to update my blog, do some wOrk & at the same time, chat wif some frens on MSN..

Dunno how much longer my bOdy can take it man.. Haiz... I nOe it's not healthy to sleep so late but it seems like I have so many things to do, so little time to actually do it..

Anyway..Today is Zhengyu 1st day of wOrk at my company..Very happy that he is doing temp there. On one hand, he can gain some working experience, on the other hand he can acc me.. hahaha...

Today quite busy @ work, that B***H is trying to push work to me again..Sickening rite.. Damn farking pissed off & unbalanced about what she told me this nOOn.

She casually mentioned to me that "Boss has approved on my request, to haf an off day once every 2 weeks"!!!!!!!!!!! WTF~ Rite now, she is entitled to 18 days of AL, 14 days of MC & 6 days of CL.

If she is to take one day off for every 2 weeks of work, that means she will be off for 26 days in a year! KaOZ~~ Means what? She has bleedy 50 days of leave in a year~ Add in public holiday & all, she will be gone for at least 60 days in a year, which is like 3 months in a year???? Where is the justice in this!!

The reason she gave to justify this is that:
1) When I stay late, I am able to claim for OT
2) She feels that since she also stay late but cannot claim for OT, she shd be entitled to off days
3) She proposed to stay till 615pm everyday (our official working hour is fr 830am to 515pm) and get a day off once every 2 weeks

Hello??? Is she for real? (Guess she is since she already talked to boss & boss has oredi agreed in principle) Damn unfair lo!

1) I get OT pay because:
a) my position is more junior than her & technically speaking, I am not under "executive" level --> more of confidential staff, so I am eligible to claim for OT
b) My pay is bloody $1.3K lesser than her k! (Sorry for the vulgarities here but i am reali reali pissed off..) If she wants so much to claim for OT, ok fine, let's switch la~ I get her pay i wont mind staying late loh~ KaOz!!!

2) She get so high pay, stay late is "li suo dang ran" de rite? Who ask her to be so inefficient & work so slow? KaOz~ She onli nOe how to geng loh~ Most of the time she stay back late is to wait for her hubby to come office to fetch her, or so that she can meet her hubby @ some MRT station loh~

3) 615pm is like the norm loh~ For me, if i can leave by 615pm, already "tou siao" liao loh~ Damn B****H loh~ F**KED up~

Anyway, after she told me, i went to speak to our bOss. I told it's ridiculous that she can claim for so many off day lar & that I will not be able to cope alone~ Damn unfair to me. When she is on leave, "ah nia" is supposed to cover her duty loh~ Think i so damn free ah~~ Boss say she will talk to her again.. Dunno how lar... Feels like quitting!!!!!

Anyway, my training sponsorship has been rejected.. Cos MD say now is "fei chang shi qi", Finance & Auditors looking closely @ how we spend money.. So i need to wait till i officially eligible for the sponsorship, before i can request again loh.. Sigh.. No choice loh..

Ok, enuf of the grumbling... Moving on to happier things, today i left work @ 645pm & went for dinner with Zhengyu. Supposed to go Yishun walk walk but a bit tired. We went to the "Tong Shui Cafe" @ Liang Seah street for dinner loh~

Zhnegyu ordered a Pork Chop baked rice & I ordered a Ham, hotdog & luncheon meat baked macaroni. We shared a mango salad prawn roll & the Housespecial french fries. I ordered a lychee soda & he ordered the famous HK milk tea.

After that I ordered a mango salad prawn roll & red bean paste pancake for Zhengyu to bring home to Xiaoyi to try. After discount (DBS & UOB cards are entitled to 10% discount, if you spend more than $30), the total bill is $49++. Quite ex la.. But seldom got chance to treat my biao dee ma.. And my xiaoyi to me, so is only rite that I treat her children as my brother & sister rite? =)

Anyway we finished dinner @ 8plus & took train home.. Reached home @ 9pm.. Super tired... Going to sleep early today I hope~~

Oh ya, I bought a new wallet for myself this noon. BHG is having "Super Sale" =) I got myself a B.U.M equipment wallet, super nice & it costs $48 nett after discount~~ Love Love my new wallet~ Have transferred all the stuff from my old one to this new wallet~ Best thing about this? Got many compartments so i can keep all my cards in it!! Excited~~

Tomorrow got driving lesson & after that might be meeting Grace & Fiona @ St James (most likely Dragonfly) for some chill-out session loh~~ More updates tmr~~~

Got my confirmation but not reali happy....

Seeing my subject head, you might think that I did not get any increment upon my confirmation rite? Well... That is not exactly the case..

I got my confirmation letter today... And gOtten an increment of $100.. However, I feel very unbalanced..Cos my colleague (tat HR Exec) who joined abt 2 weeks earlier than me, she oso got increment of $200...

Some background on the situation:

I jOined my new cO in 1st of Jul & tis colleague (Let's call her HP for short) joined in mid June. My starting pay is $300 below my expected salary. At that time, my then manager told me tat she will adjust my pay upon confirmation but it's dependent on my performance... HP's starting pay is $1.2K more than mine.. Main Reason the manager gave is bCos she gOt a degree & more payroll experience..

Her biO data:
- Age 32
- Married wif 1 kid (1yr old)
- Worked in a SME as a HR cum Admin Asst for abt 5yrs
- Worked in a bank as HR Admin for abt 2yrs

My gripe about her that i dun like:

Liar, bOastful
She claimed to haf payroll experience, doing payroll processing for 2000 staff ~ so she said to the manager..When i asked her, she told me actually for the 2000 staff, her company outsource to external vendor. On her end, she juz need to submit payroll instructions to the vendor.. Wow... Diff story..

Very act busy & know-it-all
When boss is ard, she will act as if very hardworking while in actual fact, she dumps mOst of the things for me to do.

Fake
- When ex bOss ard, act very frenly & pledge loyalty to her. When ex boss left, shifted her affections to the new one.
- Always taking urgent leave, excuse given? Her mother-in-law/mother/husband/auuntie sick, so noone help her take care of her baby. Otherwise will say she/her baby is sick. And usually take urgent leave when she has many things to clear / when we need to submit reports. Who end up doIng the wOrk? Yours truly.

One last thing tat pisses me off:
Before ex boss left (abt 2 months after I joined the co), she tOld me
that she will definitely increase my salary as I have met her expectations & for my post, there is still budget for increment.

For HP, she told her (in my presence) tat for her case, when they employed her, she has already given her the max (de the limit of the budget)salary & thus, she will not have any increment upon her confirmation.

But wat did tat HP do? Did she tell the new bOss this? Of cos..NOT!!

Dunno what sob story she tOld our new bOss.. the new bOss actually gave her ann increment~

Sigh... My pay is so much lower than people, increment oso lower than people. The thing i have more than her? WORKLOAD.

Overworked, underpaid--> That's mOi, me, yours truly~
