Foreword: This entry is like super late for about 1 week plus. Prepared this post on 27 Oct 08 (Monday) morning i think and only got time to post this now.. Enjoy~

Last nite too tired to blog..was falling asleep as I am typing away on my laptop ^_^ Am now in mrt on my way to work.. Late.. But i am reali tired loh...Been sleeping for 4 hours on average for the past few weeks...

Haf been bringing my laptop to work from Tuesday till today, so tat my cousin can use my laptop while @ work ma..Den not so bOred~ hahaha.. so tis is why some of u can see me online these few days.. Is not cos my co suddenly so good to unlock the many many firewalls..But cos i bring my own laptop & my m1 wireless modem loh.. ^_^

These few days the network suddenly quite good leh..shocking..^_^.. lately quite suay..a lot of problems wif some part of my life...like many unresolved issues..e.g. my part time studies, my starhub bill payment, my M1 bill payment, my driving instructor, my work, the california fitness saga etc...

1) Studies - I juz started my part time studies @ brOokes business school sometime in the last week of Sept..Been going for lessons every Thursday & yesterday oredi my 4th lesson liao...Till now, I still haf not received any books, onli some notes in a file are given.. No student card, ID, books, study guides etc haf been given..Reason being we (me & "Drine studying together) have not “paid the course fee yet”. But is not our fault loh~ Our bank loans are pending for approval ma, then the sales people oso never follow up wif us~ But now tat the loans are finally approved, we are having 2nd tots.. Cos there have been some irregularities on what we have been told so far..(Long long story) & the most impt thing is that till now, we still have not seen a sample cert yet.. Wait for my updates on this ba.
2) Starhub bill – Sometime in Jul, when i applied for my UOB credit card, I opted for the option, for my handphone bills to be paid via GIRO. Was told to carry on paying my bill, till i get approval from Starhub tat my GIRO has been approved. Recently, I paid my bills (as per normal) via cheque & sent out the cheque on 23 Oct 08 (evening). When i reached home, I saw a letter on my desk from Starhub. Opening it up, I realised that it’s an approval letter from Starhub, stating my GIRO has been approved. As I have already posted out the cheque, decided to call Starhub tmr to check out what to do. What I heard next made me so pissed off & confused: Starhub has already been billing me since my Jul 08 bill. Reason being i attached the bill stub (usually detached from the handphone bill) to my GIRO application (cos the UOB CC salesperson say need to attach some supporting document). Although I did not tick any of the option (“Pay this bill now”, “Make future payment via IRO”), the people @ Starhub conveniently started to deduct my bills, once my GIRO has been approved, without any checking! HellOOo~~ So the CSO told me like almost $200 will be debited from my UOB card account. I have been paying my Starhub bills promptly every month & there has been no outstanding payment can? Every month accept my cheque den now tell me they debited my account? Siao ah!! So i asked the CSO what should i do? She told me to continue to pay my credit card bill and from next month, they will minus off my bill from what they have already debited. Like that how to keep track??? Stupid solution. Lame CS. Decided not to do anything, till i see my current UOB bill, before I call them again.
3) M1 Bill payment – I think got some wrong billing again.. %#$%#@
4) Driving instructor – Someone asked me if he is good. I dunno wat to say leh.. He came highly recommended by a fren but so far, not very impressed wif him or his teaching style. Can say tat he explains not very clearly and tends to nag alot. And for some reasons, he loves to change my classes and very last min. I think he oredi did it to me like 3 times liao. One more time and I am going to explode @ him liao lo..
5) Work – I am very up to my neck wif all the things tat need to be completed by month end. And TAT colleague of mine is up to her usual tricks (i.e. leaving all the work to me, going back very early, urgent leave etc). So sian. Going to stay till my bond ended and will reconsider my options le..
6) California fitness – Close fren would haf heard abt the California saga.. =) Was being psycho-ed to sign up for a 21-month membership few weeks ago and being me, after being pressured by the hard-selling person, I signed up on the spot for a 21 month membership, which costs about $1,400. The salesperson told me that I have a “free-look” period of 3 days (i.e. 72hours termination with full refund thingy) so after 2 days, I decided to go back to the branch to cancel my membership. Wow, the attitude from the salesperson is like 180 degree turn loh. I waited for like half an hour before someone decides to “entertain” my request. And the person still dun give up, trying to persuade me not to cancel my membership. But I adamant about the cancellation, so they have no choice. But what they promised me previously was somewhat flawed. “Total refund” will tak like 4 – 6 weeks. Reason being they have already processed my credit card deduction. Lame loh~ In that case, why do they still have the 72-hours termination thingy if they are going to process the payment immediately? This is the last time I am going to these so-called “free trial”. So frens, pls do not put my name as a referral in future, not appreciated!
