Tiring but fruitful day~

Today managed to reach office on time. Got time to make-up & buy breakfast too~ ^_^ Bought the hei bi thick toast + egg + ice tea breakfast set from toastbox! Yummy~~

After reaching office, spent my time updating the contract renewal listing.. In btw, the bitch keep asking me to submit my leave carry forward form to her. Was quite pissed off lar~ Asked her which is more impt: my leave form or the report & she keep quiet. Then she asked me if i plan to take any leave during this month & next. Told her not sure & she say she might be taking.. Kaoz.. Tot oredi resign liao still haf leave meh~ KNS!

After tat, received several calls from recruitment agency regarding some job offers.. Got one call fr De-Factor & they haf a position (HR cum Secretary) in an Oil & Gas Company, which is located @ Jurong Island! Quite excited leh.. Think I will be trying out for this post.. Though far, but is working in the Oil & Gas industry wor~ Heard tat bOnus quite "fat" leh.. hahaha.. will send my CV & see how it goes ba~~

After tat made plans to meet up the RHB bank loan officer to settle my study loan thingy~ Finally approved liao! Went to the Sim Lim Towers, where the office is located. Reached there wif Andrine @ 130pm but the officer was late~~ He reached @ 150pm & the whole meeting lasted till 3pm.. Juz signed my life away & will be $13k poorer for the next 5 years.... After tat we went to Rochor Centre for lunch.

Andrine went home after tat & we made plans to go SIC to settle our registration later in the evening @ 630pm.. Reached office @ 330pm & started on my report, which is due today. Do all the way till 625pm den left the office..Rushed & rushed all the way & reached Hougang @ 650pm. Then went to one of the Photo Shop to take instant photos (4 for $6) which is needed for my registration.

Managed to reach the school @ 715pm & settled the paperwork.. Excited! Will be starting classes in the 1st week of Jan next year~ Gonna be a busy year ahead~~ After we settled the stuff, went to one sushi restaurant @ Hougang Plaza for dinner. Ate 17 plates in total & total cost is juz $21!~ So much cheaper than Sakae loh! (Tat day eat wif Pauline we onli ate like 10 plates & total cost is $42 loH~~~)

Anyway after dinner acc Andrine to Raffles Medical clinic to see doc. She's going to Hong Kong tmr & feeling a bit sick today~ I'm having neck pain these 2 days.. Think it's time for me to go massage le.. ^_^ BTW, i received my Citibank credit card le~ Exciting!!!

Going to check some email den go to sleep le... Tmr still got 2 more reports due~ After tat will be rushing payroll for Dec le... So many things to do, so little time!! -_-"

Today is ZY 1st day of wOrk @ anOther dept. Missing him oredi~~ We reached office @ 830am today. He went on to find his "chouchou" to report for work.. Quite busy wif wOrk the whole day...

Went for lunch wif bOss & ZY today. Went to a Vietnamese restaurant @ Liang Seah Street call Mrs (Or is it Miss? ^_^) SaigOn. We ordered a Ms SaigOn Delights sampler (a dish wif mOst of the finger food for our sampling), one Vietnamese Vegetarian Fried Rice & a beef stired fry kuay teOw. I osO ordered a mixed fruit soda & bOss ordered a lime soda. ZY ordered a dessert called "Three Ice" (Vietnamese version of Chendol)

The sampler is very nice & mOre than enuf for the 3 of us. I especially like the chicken salad & the sOtong ball & the spring roll. The fried rice is nOt bad as well--> very eggy taste but i find the kuay teow a bit too dry (never reali liked kuay teow anyway..) We managed to finish all the food btw the 3 of us & the whole meal costs $60. For spending above $60 (before service charge), Citibank card holder will be entitled to 10% discount. We are juz short of that few dollars!~~ ToOk few phOtos of the foood, will upload soon~~

After lunch went back to wOrk & shortly after, received a surprising news: that WOMAN told me she has juz tendered her resignation & bOss has accepted!! Yay~~~ I am like so ultra delighted!! Seems like the dragon-head,turtle-bOdy statue (used to ward off "xiao ren") is wOrking very finely!!! Hahahaha... Finally, i dOnt need to see her face again~~~~

She told me tat she has found a jOb as an AM (Asst Manager) in a foreign small bank. They are actually paying her 16% increase (of her annual income here).. PeOple of her calibre oso can command so high pay meh? Guess the economy is nOt tat bad afterall ba~~ Hahaha... Anyway, her last day will be on the 1st week of Jan 09. Looking forward ~~~

Probably my bOss will be speaking to me soon, about her replacement. Shall see if the co will offer to promo me or get a new replacement. If they are finding a replacement, mOst likely the next to leave will be mOi oredi loh.. Let's see how it gOes ba~ In the meantime, I shall start looking arOund liao ^_^

Went for ARC Meeting @ 430pm, for our D & D discussion. The whole thing ended @ 6pm. Went back office to pack up~

Left office @ 6pm, to proceed to Hougang to meet Andrine, so that we can visit SIC, to enquire further about the degree programme. Supposed to meet her @ 7pm but she was late abt 15 minutes. It was raining "maO & gOu" when i reached there.. Walked to the school & met up wif the course consultant.. The degree is from a Canadian Uni.. Seems fine based on what the consultant has informed me. It costs abt $13K & will be completed in 15 months time.. Somehow i feel much more reasurred & confident as compared to my previous school.. At leaast the consultant is able to answer my question more competently & clearly~ The only thing i am dissatisfied wif is that for this degree course, there is nO modules on HR at all.. Well, you lose some & you gain some ba..

Will be enquiring on the bank loan soon & once bank loan has been processed, will enrol for the course liao. Dun wish to waste mOre time loh.. School will commence on the 1st week of Jan 09. Wish me luck~~

Went to Suki Sushi for dinner with Andrine after visiting the school. After tat tOok cab home, was so tired tat i fell asleep on my way back.. Yawn.. Going to sleep nOw, cOs tmr "small pig" is performing for her band. Dun wish to fall asleep during the performance! ^_^

Could not wake up in time & onli reached office @ 9plus.. But at least i went to wOrk loh~ 3 Nov is our deadline for a few report submission & what did that HP do?

Yes, as usual, she was on urgent leave. Told boss her hubby sick. I sms her & asked her if she is on leave again? she replied "ya, my boy is sick". So issit her hubby sick or boy sick or she is sick? Noone nOes.. So i juz replied "Oh, guess i will have to do this month report alone again." Sian. Sick & tired & oh-so-mad!

Anyway, went lunch wif ZY. he told me tat he passed his Basic Jap class wif flying colors, so as an encoragement & celebration, decided to treat him lunch! Went to Shaw Towers, Ah Yat Abalone restaurant.

They are having 50% discount for all Dim Sum during weekday lunch time (& 30% for weekend lunch). Ordered quite a few dishes & totally enjoyed the food. Yummy!! But one piece of advice: DO NOT order the orange juice! It costs $5 per glass loh~~ Total meal costs me $50~~

Btw, I got my HSBC card last Friday. Very shocked, cos previously when i sent in my application, HSBC sent me a decline letter, rejecting my application. Out of the blue, they sent me the card?? Hahaha... And the credit limit is way higher than my UOB/DBS one loh~~ Double checked the names & yes, is my name leh... Blurred~~ -_-"

After that went back to work & left @ 650pm to meet Andrine go to SmA to enquire on the degree offered by Murdoch U. Wah, super EXPENSIVE loh~~ 1.5years of study = $25K!
Dun think i got the money to study there..

After that we went to Bugis Junction for dinner - A hong Kong cafe endorsed by "Ah Wang" (Those who watch HK drama will nOe who he is)

After tat took cab home, sent Andrine back ^_^
Reached home @ 11plus & spent my time doing reports & reply email. Went to sleep only @ 4am. Tired!!!

My new boss is here..

Today is de first day of work for my new manager..
First impression-quite frenly n nice.. But feels tat she's not as experienced..

Anyway spent my whole day @ work doing payroll as tmr is deadline le.. My sup very geng lo..

Think she spent whole day sucking up to new boss.. Anyway after work went to meet andrine n jovvy for dinner, n oso to source for school.

Met them @ doby ghaut ard 7pm. Went to de jap village restaurant @ the cathay for dinner.. Quite nice but 3 of us costs $65-quite ex rite..

After dinner went mdis but they're oredi closed.. Managed to take some studies prog catalogue.

Went to bmc academy.. Quite impressive as their degree is under uni of london.. But de cso's attitude is lousy n oso not helpful n de fee very ex. $22k plus for 3yr course.

We went to stanfield college as well but they're closed too.. Most prob will go mdis, psb, sic n maybe shri next.. After tat took mrt home.. Tired..

School searching last thurs

Met andrine n arranged to go brookes business school.
As u nOe, i've been thinking of going back to school to obtain a degree. So happened tat recently, a guy named melvin fr brookes haf been calling me to intro me to de degree prog their sch is offering.

As andrine is oso interested, we decided to go to de sch tog. Arranged to meet melvin @ 7pm. One good thing is tat de sch is pretty near my office, aBt ten min walk.

We saw many shuai ge outside de sch smoking when we reached. Went in n met melvin. Wow.. Shuai lo.. Haha.. He showed us ard de sch n den went on to tell me more aBt de degree..

It'll be fr cardiff uni n will be a 1.2yr course for me.. bsc wif hon in biz mgmt.. De total fee is aBt 17k n if we get bank loan, will need to pay aBt 350bucks monthly for 5years..

Haf sent our cert to cardiff for evaluation.. See if they'll accept us lo.. Haha.. Spent aBt 2hrs there listening n looking @ melvin lo.. Kekeke..

After tat meet jovvy @ bugis junction
for dinner. Went to a korean restaurant for dinner. Quite nice. Orderede a korean steamboat, bbq set n oso a rice cake. Total is aBt $60, a treat from andrine. After tat took bus 980 home.. Reached home ard 12am..
