Feeling nervous yet excited @ the same time.. This is officially the 3rd time I am changing job since i started working full time 4 yrs + ago....
My 1st full time job was as a travel consultant @ Skyway Travel @ Chinatown Point. I remember feeling glad @ that time, cos after graduating from poly, it has been my dream to work in the Travel Industry. However, after working there for 2 weeks, I felt that this line (Customer Service) is not really my cup of tea... Everyday need to smile @ customers, doing lots of sales talk... It was then tat I realised that my Diploma in Business Studies (majoring in IT) is too general a degree.
I was not very serious during my polytechnic studies & reali reali regret it after i started working.. It was only when I started working that I realised the importance of having good qualifications.. Sigh... I should have gone on to the JC route after I graduated..
I have seen many of my pri & sec school mates (who have realli lousy grades in school) go on to study in JC, going on to Uni & gotten a degree. For some who reali CMI & whose parents are willing to pay for their studies, they managed to get private degree. Most of them are earning much higher salaries than me..
I nOe it's no use regretting & crying over spilled milk. What I can do nOw is to work harder & save some money & then proceed to further my studies. Armed with my 4 yrs of experience in HR & wif a business degree, I believe I will have nO problem securing a high paying job. I am still young, aint I? 我要告诉我自己：我一定办得到！！
